Golfers will swap their everyday drives for a cause-driven one when the One Club Charity Golf Classic for Breast Cancer Awareness returns Saturday, Oct. 24, at the One Club Golf Course in Gulf Shores.
The annual event blends the love of golf with the mission of fighting breast cancer, raising money for research, awareness, and patient support programs. It draws players, sponsors, and volunteers from across the region who share a passion for both the game and the cause.
Check-in and breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m. before golfers hit the course for an 18-hole tournament featuring contests, prizes, and community camaraderie. Registration is $100 for individual players or $300 for a foursome. Entry includes green fees, cart rental, breakfast, lunch and a gift bag.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at several levels: Gold ($1,500), Silver ($1,000), Bronze ($550), Hole Sponsor ($180), or In Kind. All checks should be made payable to the ONE Foundation and mailed to ONE Club Gulf Shores, Attention: Accounting, 20050 Oak Road East, Gulf Shores, 36542.
Volunteers are also needed to assist with registration, hospitality and on-course activities. Organizers said the event wouldn’t be possible without volunteers who lend their time and energy to make the day run smoothly.
Proceeds from the One Club Fall Charity Golf Classic benefit both local and national breast cancer organizations, helping fund research grants, patient support programs and educational initiatives that promote early detection and prevention.
“Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just starting out, your participation makes a meaningful difference,” organizers said in a news release. “Together, we can work toward a future where breast cancer is a thing of the past.”
