Gulf Shores City Schools summer camps are in full swing where students learned about numeracy, nature and STEM in the first weeks.

The first ever Numeracy Camp kicked off at Gulf Shores Elementary School with campers working on math strategies, gathering data and expressing math through art.

Graham Creek Nature Preserve hosted Gulf Shores Middle School students who discovered the importance of preserving natural resources, protecting delicate ecosystems and making sustainable choices to ensure a healthier planet for generations to come.

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers had a full day where students experienced a full range of learning between engaging puzzles, exciting STEM building, fascinating Eco art activities, getting their hands dirty and more. The campers have embraced summer fun while acquiring valuable skills.
