The City of Fairhope will host its 2026 State of the City Expo on Thursday, Jan. 29, offering residents an opportunity to hear directly from city leadership and engage with municipal departments in an open, interactive setting.
The event is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Fairhope Civic Center. Mayor Sherry Sullivan will deliver her annual State of the City address, highlighting accomplishments from the past year and outlining priorities and goals for the year ahead as the city plans for its future.
Following the mayor’s remarks, attendees will be invited to explore an open-house-style expo featuring individual tables hosted by each city department. Representatives will be available to discuss services, initiatives and objectives for 2026 while answering questions from residents.
City officials said the format is designed to encourage conversation and transparency, giving the public a closer look at how city operations function and how departments serve the community. The evening will also include a light dinner and giveaways for guests.
The State of the City Expo is open to the public and intended to foster community involvement and direct engagement between residents and city leadership.
