Alabama Coast Home Watch earns NHWA accreditation

Posted

Alabama Coast Home Watch has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association, which establishes industry standards for home watch and absentee homeowner services.

The company was founded by Holly and Kevin Richard, who moved from Colorado to Alabama in 2023. The couple also operates ChumShop Handyman Service.

Home Watch involves visual inspections of properties while owners are away. Alabama Coast Home Watch serves homeowners in Baldwin County, checking properties for issues involving doors and windows, plumbing, HVAC systems, appliances, irrigation, pests and weather or storm damage.

The Richards have more than 20 years of experience owning and operating camping resorts. Kevin also is a former Colorado State Patrol trooper.

The NHWA was established in 2009. Principals of accredited member companies undergo background checks and are insured and bonded.

Alabama Coast Home Watch serves Spanish Fort, Daphne, Fairhope, Point Clear, Robertsdale, Loxley, Silverhill, Summerdale and Magnolia Springs. For more information, call (251) 419-1900 or visit www.alcoasthomewatch.com.
