Tanger Outlets Foley will host a PINK Party Saturday, Oct. 3, as part of its annual TangerPink campaign supporting breast cancer research and programs.

The free community event will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on the green near Michael Kors at Tanger Foley, 2601 S. McKenzie St. Guests are encouraged to wear pink and bring friends for an afternoon centered on strength, hope, support and community.

The PINK Party will feature music, cookies, refreshments, uplifting activities and a PINK-themed photo booth.

In addition to the event, Tanger Foley will offer special savings throughout October for shoppers who participate in the center's breast cancer fundraising campaign. From Oct. 1-31, shoppers can donate $10 through Tanger.com and receive a TangerPink Savings Pass offering 25% off a single item at participating stores.

Crocs and HEYDUDE will expand the savings to 25% off an entire purchase, while Nike will offer $25 off purchases of $150.

Funds raised through Tanger's online donation campaign will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, or BCRF. Tanger said the organization is the largest private funder of breast cancer and metastatic breast cancer research in the world and the country's highest-rated breast cancer research organization.

At Tanger centers nationwide, 100% of donations from local and national fundraising efforts will support breast cancer research and programs focused on improving outcomes and saving lives.

The annual TangerPink campaign has raised more than $19 million since 1994 in support of breast cancer research and programs. Through its partnership with BCRF, which began in 2011, Tanger has funded more than 97,000 hours of lifesaving research.

The PINK Party is free and open to the public. Shoppers can donate directly to BCRF at tanger.com/pink to receive exclusive offers from Tanger Foley retailers.
