Event, fundraiser to honor life of Branson Blevins, 11-year-old from Robertsdale who died from cancer

Friends, family and bikers will gather Saturday, Nov. 8, for a day of riding, raffles and community in honor of Branson Blevins, an 11-year-old boy from Robertsdale who recently lost his battle with aggressive blood cancer.

The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Top of The Bay, 28971 US Highway 98 in Daphne.

The day begins with a poker run open to all riders. Participants will meet at Doc Holidays in Foley at 9:45 a.m. with kickstands up at 10:30 a.m. Riders will stop along the route to draw cards, and the best hand will win a prize. The ride will conclude at Top of The Bay, where the celebration continues with a vendor market featuring local small businesses supporting the Blevins family.

Branson, known affectionately as “Hollywood” on the baseball field, inspired everyone who knew him with his strength, faith and radiant spirit. He bravely battled cancer, traveling with his family to Rome for treatment. While the event was originally planned before his passing, it now serves as a celebration of his life, honoring his courage, smile and the love he shared with others.

Tickets for the event are $20 per rider and $5 per passenger, with the market free to attend. The day will include hourly raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and a silent auction. All proceeds from vendor fees and ticket sales, along with 50% of the 50/50 raffle, will go directly to the Blevins family to help cover medical and funeral expenses.

The event is hosted by Hunter's Heart Foundation. Tickets and more information are available at https://www.eventeny.com/events/rallyforbranson-24386.
