Country music duo Big & Rich will take the stage at the Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Atmore Amphitheater on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 9 p.m. with special guests Cowboy Troy and DJ Sinister.

Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets and The W Store.

Big & Rich, known as America’s Technicolor Cowboys, describe themselves as artists committed to the idea that great music has no boundaries. Individually, Big Kenny and John Rich are established musicians, songwriters, producers and entertainers. Together, they have become one of country music’s most distinctive acts, releasing six studio albums and charting 19 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

William Kenneth Alphin, known professionally as Big Kenny, is one half of the duo. Before forming Big & Rich, he fronted the band LuvjOi and recorded a solo album, Live a Little, for Hollywood Records in 1999, though it was not released until 2005. He has co-written many Big & Rich songs with Rich and has also written singles for Gretchen Wilson, Jason Aldean, McBride & the Ride and Tim McGraw. His solo single “Long After I’m Gone” was released to country radio on Aug. 3, 2009, from the album The Quiet Times of a Rock and Roll Farm Boy.

John Rich is also an American country music singer-songwriter. From 1992 to 1998, he was a member of the band Lonestar, playing bass guitar and alternating as lead vocalist with Richie McDonald. After leaving the group in 1998, he launched a solo career with BNA Records in the late 1990s, releasing two singles and recording Underneath the Same Moon, which was not released until 2006. In 2001, he self-released Rescue Me, an album inspired by cancer patient Katie Darnell. In 2003, he joined Big Kenny to form Big & Rich, which went on to release three albums on Warner Bros.
