The event runs Saturday, Nov. 8, and Sunday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Town Green area of Gulf Shores. Admission is free and organizers encourage attendees to bring a lawn chair.
The festival, hosted by Food Truck Festivals of America, will feature a lineup of the region’s top food trucks serving everything from slow-smoked ribs and BBQ nachos to chicken sandwiches, sliders, gyros and shrimp baskets. Festival-goers can also indulge in classic favorites such as mac ’n cheese bowls, loaded fries, blooming onions, corn dogs, fried Oreos, funnel cakes and milkshakes.
Beverage options are equally extensive, ranging from craft beers, wines, and canned cocktails to non-alcoholic choices including iced coffees, frappes, matcha, teas, lemonades, energy spritzers, smoothies and Italian cream sodas. Attendees can purchase beverage packages in advance online, including a 3-pack for $18 or a 6-pack for $36, which include corresponding beverage tickets. Packages are available at www.foodtruckfestivalsofamerica.com/coastal-alabama.
The festival will also feature an artisan market showcasing a variety of coastal makers and boutiques, providing additional shopping and browsing opportunities for visitors. The event promises a weekend of food, drinks and outdoor fun suitable for families, friends and anyone looking to enjoy Gulf Shores’ coastal charm.
The festival takes place at the Town Green area, 101 Gulf Shores Parkway, in Gulf Shores.
