The news of a new cigar shop opening at The Wharf, co-owned by county music superstar Luke Bryan, has been buzzing for months. Shore Thing Cigars will hold its grand opening this weekend which coincides with Bryan’s two days on the stage at The Wharf Amphitheater.

Shore Thing Cigars is more than a cigar shop, it is a cigar and cocktail lounge that offers visitors an open-air feel with Dominican-inspired craft cocktails, hand-selected bourbons and a walk-in humidor full of cigars for every palate. If you are more of a beer type, they have the Bottoms Up beer system which fills your beer up from the bottom. According to a news release, Shore Thing Cigars Orange Beach has the only Bottoms Up beer system in Alabama.

The Orange Beach location is the second for the brand. Shore Thing Cigars’ first location is Watersound Beach, Florida.

Bryan's business partner and co-owner in Shore Thing Cigars is Paul Copeland. Copeland is Tobacconist of the Year and a three-time Davidoff Golden Band Award winner.

The grand opening event begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, will feature raffles and drink specials throughout the day Saturday, June 15. At 3 p.m. a cigar roller from Davidoff Cigars will be hand-rolling a special blend consisting of six different tobaccos that will be available for purchase. Then at 5:30 p.m., there will be a champagne toast to celebrate the grand opening. Finally, a post-Luke Bryan concert after-party will cap off the event with music and drink specials.
