Jasmine Lee of Daphne was crowned 2007 Miss Alabama Pre Teen Queen at the National American Miss pageant in Birmingham on May 26.
She received a crown, banner, trophy and a $1,000 cash award.
She also received transportation costs to the National Pageant to be held in Anaheim, Calif., during Thanksgiving week along with a special day in Disneyland and a tour of Hollywood.
She was also first runner-up in the Actress category and first runner-up as Most Promising Model.
Jasmine is the daughter of Thomas and Gina Lee. She has one brother, Zackary, and her activities include dance, acting, cheerleading and cooking. She is an honor student at Bayside Academy and a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church.
She would like to become a doctor and work at St. Jude Hospital, according to her father.
Her sponsors were her parents and grandparents, Bobby and Joanne Wilson, and Thomas Sr. and Barbara Lee.
The National American Miss Pageant awards thousands in scholarships and prizes to recognize and assist the development of young women nationwide.
Pageants are held in each state for girls ages 4 to 18 in five age divisions.
