Gulf Shores' baseball program hosted its annual 'Halloween Game' on Wednesday night, with players and fans alike dressing up in costumes for a festive evening at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex.

With admission being free and the event beginning at 5:30 p.m., a sizable crowd turned out to participate in various activities.

Trunk-or-treat, face painting, a pastry sale, an obstacle bounce house and a postgame base-running session provided families with plenty to do throughout the night.

And of course, the Dolphins' 2026-2027 team also took to the field for a lighthearted game that featured players suiting up in their Halloween costumes and attempting to effectively play baseball while overcoming the limitations of their attire.

The "Scream Team" took on the "Boo Crew" in the matchup, with each team featuring 13 Dolphins players.

From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to The Cat in the Hat, a wide range of characters could be seen on the diamond. Naturally, that led to some great images and plenty of laughter from the stands.

As for the game itself, the Scream Team jumped out a 3-0 lead halfway through the game, but the Boo Crew came up clutch with four runs during its final at-bat to secure a walk-off win.
