School leaders focused on student mental health will gather at Perdido Beach Resort in February for the 14th Annual National Peer Program Conference, hosted by ThriveWay and the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation.
With limited spots available, the event will take place over two sessions: Feb. 18-19, 2025, which still has availability, and Feb. 20-21, 2025, which is already sold out.
The conference, a leading event in mental health education, aims to equip school administrators, district leaders, counselors, social workers and teachers with practical strategies to enhance student well-being and academic success. This year's keynote speaker, Tami West, brings her expertise as an entrepreneur, author and mental health advocate. West holds a Ph.D. in Human Development, and her research on stress, emotions and identity has impacted audiences across 48 states and internationally according to a news release.
West's keynote address will explore how educators can better understand and manage the stress and emotional challenges that students face in today's fast-paced world. Her engaging approach has inspired many to rethink traditional methods of addressing mental health in school settings, providing attendees with new tools to support students in meaningful ways.
This conference presents a unique opportunity for educators to connect, learn and collaborate on solutions to the growing mental health concerns among students. Those interested can register at www.peerprogramconference.com before remaining spots fill up.
