Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and for a lot of people, that means having to plan what to cook, see who in your family is able to come visit, having to get everything you need before it inevitably sells out and trying to follow cooking instructions on that one Instagram reel you have saved for months.
Feeling stressed out? If you want to just skip the hassle of preparing for Thanksgiving Day, or if something falls through unexpectedly, there are plenty of places in Baldwin County that have you covered for the season. Whether you want a traditional Thanksgiving dinner or something with more of a Gulf Coast influence, many restaurants stay open on the holiday. So, why not make a phone call or two and enjoy the holidays stressed free?
Here are 10 Thanksgiving Day dining options, factoring for varying menus and destinations from the beach to central Baldwin to the Eastern Shore. Some require or recommend making reservations, while others simply invite you to show up and feast.
TRADITIONAL, PLATED MEALS
California Dreaming
30500 State Highway 181, Spanish Fort
California Dreaming in Spanish Fort is serving a traditional holiday menu for Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, Nov. 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. It costs $30.95 for adults and $15.95 for kids. They will also be offering a takeout dinner.

The Fairhope Inn will be serving an elegant three-course meal on Thanksgiving Day featuring a delectable menu of turkey, pork loin and salmon as the main course along with a variety of sides and desserts.
Seating times are scheduled for 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. It costs $84 per adult and $40 per child (12 years younger). Seating is limited, so be sure to reserve a spot. Call (251) 298-6226 between Thursday and Sunday during business hours, 10 a.m. through 2 p.m., to make reservations.
Jesse’s On the Bay in Fort Morgan will be serving a specially curated menu on Thanksgiving featuring roasted turkey, honey brown sugar glazed ham and smoked garlic herb prime rib, complete with sides such as sweet potato casserole, oyster stuffing and cranberry sauce, in addition to desserts such as pumpkin parfait and pecan pie.
Reservations are extremely limited, so call (251) 965-3827 to secure a spot.
The Gulf
27500 Perdido Beach Blvd, Orange Beach
The Gulf in Orange Beach invites you for a scenic, laid-back Thanksgiving dinner by the water on Thursday, Nov. 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patrons can choose from two plates: a traditional plate with classic Thanksgiving offerings or a Cajun plate for a Thanksgiving meal with a Gulf Coast twist. Each meal is also served with a dessert.

Tacky Jacks in Orange Beach will host its annual Turkey Fry for Toys for Tots on Wednesday, Nov. 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests can bring a turkey to be deep fried, and those who bring a new, unwrapped toy can get it done for free.
Note: All turkeys must be thawed and under 13 pounds in order to be deep fried.

Flora-Bama Annual Thanksgiving Potluck
17401 Perdido Key Drive, Perdido Key
The Flora-Bama is hosting its annual Thanksgiving potluck on Thursday, Nov. 27. A local tradition for three decades, guests are encouraged to bring a covered dish to share. Turkey and ham will be provided by the Flora-Bama.
Dishes should be dropped off between 9 and 11 a.m., with the feast beginning at 11 a.m. The potluck is free to attend, with seniors and veterans receiving the honor of being served first.
The Hangout - Thanksgiving Dinner by the Beach
101 E. Beach Blvd, Gulf Shores
The Hangout in Gulf Shores will be serving an all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving feast on Thursday, Nov. 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., complete with a beautiful beachside setting. It is priced at $32.99 for adults, $14.99 for children ages 5-10 and free for kids under 5.

Wolf Bay Lodge Thanksgiving Day Buffet

Wolf Bay Lodge in Foley is inviting all to their Thanksgiving Day buffet on Thursday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu includes a wide variety of Thanksgiving favorites, such as roasted turkey breast with gravy, prime rib with horseradish cream and baked ham, along with sides such as cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, broccoli rice casserole, braised collard greens, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. A variety of desserts will also be served.
The buffet is priced at $40 for adults and $20 for children ages 10 and under. They are also offering a to-go buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for those who want to eat at home, featuring turkey, ham, dressing, green beans, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce and a slice of pecan or pumpkin pie.

BuzzCatz Coffee & Sweets

BuzzCatz Coffee & Sweets in Orange Beach is accepting orders for Thanksgiving featuring a variety of whole 9-inch pies, such as pumpkin ($18), apple or cherry crumb ($22), pecan ($24) and pecan with chocolate chips ($26). Patrons can also buy smaller 6-inch pies, priced from $11 to $15.
They also sell layered cakes for larger groups available in vanilla, chocolate, coconut, carrot, or red velvet for $50 each. Dinner rolls can also be purchased for $6 per dozen.
