BAY MINETTE, Alabama -- Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with a county-wide roundup by conducted by the Baldwin County Drug Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Service.
The operation, coined “Return to Duty” was named for Sgt. Curtis Summerlin, who was shot in the line of duty in November of 2012 and just recently returned to active duty.
Dennis Matthew Brackin, 34, of Loxley, was arrested Tuesday, July 9, charged with manufacture of a controlled substance, first degree. He remains in jail on a $30,000 bond.
Javon Gregory, 20, of Bay Minette, who was wanted for possession of marijuana, first degree, was arrested Wednesday, July 10, charged with possession of a concealed weapon without a permit. He remains in jail on an $8,000 bond.
Fourteen suspects from Bay Minette, Seminole, Elsanor, Wilcox, Silverhill, Robertsdale, Bon Secour, Elberta, Magnolia Springs and Daphne, were arrested July 2 charged with simple possession, distribution and manufacture of a controlled substance.
All suspects were booked into the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Correction Center. Several of the suspects are repeat offenders.
Three additional suspects remain at large as of Wednesday, July 10:
- Michael McGhee, 39, of Atmore, wanted for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
- Johnny Parker Jr., 69, of Loxley, wanted for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.
- Terry Shadrix, 46, of Magnolia Springs, wanted for unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance.

Additional arrests include:
- Phillip Dennis, 38, of Bay Minette, charged with unlawful manufacture of controlled substance, first degree, and possession of a short-barrel rifle/shotgun. Dennis has been released on a $26,000 bond.
- Justin Taylor Jr., 31, of Bay Minette, charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Taylor has been released on a $10,000 bond.
- William Townley , 46, of Seminole, charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. Townley has been released on a $10,000 bond.
- Jeffrey Day, 48, of Elsanor, charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance, first degree. Day remains in jail without bond.
- Genifer May, 36, of Wilcox, charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance, first degree. May has been released on a $25,000 bond.
- Teresa Border, 41, of Silverhill, charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. Border has been released on a $10,000 bond.
- Stephen Altes, 33, of Robertsdale, charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Altes has been released on a $500 bond.
- David Hutzell, 25, of Silverhill, charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Hutzell has been released on a $1,000 bond.
- Carlton Hensell, 49, of Bon Secour, charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. Hensell has been released on a $41,000 bond.
- Stewart Muma, 50, of Elberta, charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Muma has been released on a $6,000 bond.
- Frank Parker Jr., 26, of Magnolia Springs, charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. Parker remains in jail without bond.
- Ray Pamplin, 48, of Magnolia Springs, charged with possession of marijuana, second degree. Pamplin remains in jail on a $700 bond.
- Robert Gulley III, 34, of Daphne, charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance. Gulley is currently being held without bond at the Daphne Metro Jail.
- Jason Knapp, 38, of Daphne, charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance. Current records for Knapp are unavailable. According to the release, his bond was set at $51,000.
