Building sandcastles is a highlight of any trip to the beach but have you ever wanted to learn how to build like the sandcastle pros? Head to Tacky Jacks Orange Beach and learn from the sand sculptures of Sand Castle University July 23.

Each summer for the past 12 years, Tacky Jacks has kept families busy with its Summer of Fun series. Each Tuesday through Thursday through the end of July, Tacky Jacks offers a fun family-friendly event ranging from meeting animals from the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo to making beachy bracelets.

This Tuesday, July 23, the sandcastle pros of Sand Castle University will teach the Art al Fresco class. Learn about the tools the pros use to create everything from massive art sculptures to intricately detailed sand houses. The class is $20 to attend but each registered guest will receive a $10 Tacky Jacks gift card for lunch.
