As the calendar shifts past fall sports, six Baldwin County programs recently gathered to recognize dozens of athletes whose early signing decisions spanned multiple sports and levels.
Here is a quick look at the athletes who signed:
BAYSIDE ACADEMY
With the Admirals' football team competing in the Class 3A state championship in Birmingham this past week, Bayside Academy pushed its signing ceremonies to Dec. 8. The list of Admiral athletes signing to play at the next level is both extensive and diverse.
Headlining the group is two-way football standout Monroe Partin, who signed with Wake Forest as a 2026 linebacker. Also signing in football were Will Allen, who recently committed to Samford, and Brennen Yamane, who signed with Pomona-Pitzer in California. Football standout Noah Cain also signed his letter of intent but to play baseball at Shelton State.
Joining Allen at Samford is volleyball standout Haley Robison. Cain's baseball teammate, Wyatt Williams, signed with Gadsden State, and cross-country and track standout Shebly Fargason signed with Davidson College.
DAPHNE
Daphne held a ceremony Dec. 3 for eight athletes across football, volleyball and wrestling. On the mat, wrestling standout Ethan Curry signed with Williams Baptist University.
The Trojans had three Division I football signees: Jai'Vale Fredericks and Edrick "EJ" Williams, who both pledged to Louisiana-Lafayette, and Malique Franklin, who followed in the footsteps of head coach Kenny King by signing with Alabama.
After another successful season, Daphne volleyball had four signees in the Class of 2026: Ella Lomax, who signed with North Alabama beach volleyball, Grace Thigpen, who will compete for the University of Mobile, Anna Grace Chason, who will head to Mississippi College, and Isabella Charlton, who signed with Bucknell.
FAIRHOPE
Fairhope was among the schools with multiple Division I football signees. A trio of linemen will play at the collegiate level next season: Parks Glaze, who signed with Troy, Wesley Sandefur, who signed with Southeastern Louisiana, and Will Cooper, who will join former Pirate Caden Creel at Jacksonville State.
GULF SHORES
Gulf Shores recorded three football signees on Dec. 3. Landon Everett became the first Dolphin to sign with Army West Point, and Nick Hampton will play at Troy. Darrion Kirksey rounded out the group by signing with Copiah-Lincoln Community College in his home state of Mississippi.
SPANISH FORT
Spanish Fort celebrated seven signees across six sports, including the school's first flag football signee, Emma Allenbach, who signed with Shelton State.
On the baseball and softball diamonds, Mallarie Beagle signed with Mississippi College, while Brayden Bound and Andrew Salmon signed with Northwest-Shoals Community College baseball.
For the remaining sports, quarterback Aaden Shamburger signed with South Alabama, volleyball standout Caroline Downey joined Beagle by signing to Mississippi College, and golfer Bailee Reaper signed with Spring Hill College.
