With a massive personal and school record in the 3200-meter run on top of a silver medal, Robertsdale’s Ryan McGilvray added to her accomplishments with a Seacrest Furniture Athlete of the Week honor.

The Golden Bear junior not only beat her own school record by nearly a minute but also helped Robertsdale’s distance medley relay team take silver from Gulf Shores’ St. Patrick’s Day Meet. McGilvray finished the 3200 in 12:44.59, which topped her previous-best mark of 13:30.58 according to athletic.net, then helped her relay team log a 14:48.36 in the DMR to earn second place.
