MOBILE — On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Bowl Season announced the addition of the Reese’s Senior Bowl to its roster of postseason college football games. Beginning this year, the Reese’s Senior Bowl will become an official part of Bowl Season joining the existing 44 college football bowl games.

“We are proud to welcome the Reese’s Senior Bowl to Bowl Season’s lineup of postseason college football games,” said Nick Carparelli, executive director of Bowl Season. “This prestigious all-star game is an exciting addition to our annual celebration of college football.”

“Everyone here in Mobile is excited to be joining Bowl Season,” said Reese’s Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy. “The thing that sometimes gets lost around the bowl games is the economic and philanthropic impact they have on the host cities. Nick Carparelli and his staff are doing amazing work promoting the community aspect of Bowl Season and we wanted the Senior Bowl to be a part of that.”

This year's Reese’s Senior Bowl will be held at the University of South Alabama at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama on Feb. 1, 2025. The game will be broadcast live on the NFL Network, reaching millions of viewers and adding another exciting chapter to the history of Bowl Season.

For 75 years, The Reese’s Senior Bowl has been considered the premier college football all-star game and a key first step in the NFL Draft process. In 2024, over 900 NFL personnel, including decision-makers from all 32 teams, and 1,100 media members were in attendance. This past year, the game produced 10 first-rounders, 45 of the top 100 selections, and 110 total draft picks, which represents up to 43% of the entire 2024 NFL Draft.

The inclusion of the Reese’s Senior Bowl aligns with Bowl Season's mission to celebrate college football and highlight the sport’s impact on communities and universities alike.
