Foley's Heritage Park is set to transform into a haven for foodies, music lovers, and families on Saturday, Nov. 9, as the Burgers - Brats & Beer Fest rolls into town.
The one-day festival, running from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., promises a fun-filled day of culinary delights, lively entertainment and activities for all ages.
Organized by Beach Life Events, the festival will showcase a variety of food, drinks, and entertainment options that are sure to satisfy every appetite.
"We're thrilled to bring the community together for this delicious festival," said Lisa Yeater, Beach Life Events President. "The Burgers - Brats & Beer Festival is more than just a food and drink event; it's a celebration of community, flavor, shopping and fun."
The food selection at the festival will highlight a range of tasty options, including juicy burgers, sizzling bratwursts and savory Polish sausages, with plenty of sides to complement the main dishes. For those looking to quench their thirst, the festival will feature a wide variety of beverages, including beer, wine, mixed drinks, sodas, frappés, coffee, smoothies and fresh lemonade from Lemonade Oasis.
Beyond the food, festival-goers can expect live music throughout the day. Alabama Sunset, the top tribute band to the legendary Alabama group, will kick off the music lineup at 10:30 a.m., followed by Wildflowers, America's premier Tom Petty tribute band, at 1 p.m. Wolfy Grin will close out the evening with rock and pop hits from the '70s to the present at 4 p.m.
For those looking to take home more than just memories, specialty vendors will be on hand, offering everything from timber crafts and home décor to unique art pieces and gift items.
In addition to the food and music, the Burgers, Brats & Beer Fest will feature a variety of fun contests. Visitors can test their strength in the beer stein holding contest or compete in the burger toss, brats eating contest or the blind "guess the beer" tasting competition — each offering a $50 prize for the winners.
There will also be free bourbon samples from Dread River and Bushwacker samples, along with giveaways and contests sponsored by local businesses, making the day even more rewarding for attendees.
