The David B. Cox Universal Playground has a new reason for smiles, thanks to a recently installed swing set made possible by the J.L. Bedsole Foundation.
The new equipment, funded by a grant, adds another layer of fun to the play space, which is located at the corner of Bradley Avenue and East 12th Street, near the Municipal Pool Complex in Bay Minette.
City crews were responsible for the installation, which included not only the swings but also the surrounding border and fresh mulch, ensuring the area is both safe and inviting for children of all abilities.
The addition has been met with enthusiasm, as children and families flock to enjoy the latest feature at the inclusive playground, which continues to serve as a cherished community spot for recreation and connection.
