Girls Night Out at Eastern Shore Centre is the first event under the new ownership. In June, Wicker Park Capital Management announced the acquisition of Eastern Shore Centre in Spanish Fort. Along with new owners, it was announced that Crawford Square Real Estate Advisors was appointed to lease and manage the center.

"We are excited to see the turnout for our very first event as the new ownership and management group for Eastern Shore Centre and look forward to providing the community an array of fun events throughout the year," said Suzanna Edwards, vice president of marketing for Crawford Square Real Estate Advisors.

Girls Night Out is a free event that combines shopping, live music and fun on The Green near California Dreaming. Along with the stores in the Eastern Shore Centre, local vendors will set up on the green selling everything from art and jewelry to baked goods. Some of the vendors announced include Catherine Cochran Art and Jewelry, Krazy Good Macarons and Free Will Boutique.

In addition to the vendor offerings, shoppers will receive an exclusive shopping pass with discounts from all retailers within the Eastern Shore Centre, making it the ideal time to find great deals on everything from fashion to home goods. The timing is perfect for back-to-school shopping as well. The first 50 shoppers to check in at the Eastern Shore tent on The Green will receive an exclusive shopping tote, perfect for carrying your new treasures.

"Girls Night Out is an excellent way for us to provide something fun for the community to do that benefits both local pop-up businesses and our Eastern Shore Retailers," Edwards said. "We always look for opportunities to host events throughout the year that speak to all different types of shoppers."

According to Edwards, a full calendar year of events, with at least one event every other month is on the way for residents. Some of the events include a fall farmers market, a Puppy Palooza event for all the dog-lovers and a holiday-inspired event in conjunction with the city of Spanish Fort Christmas Parade.
