Get ready for an evening of laughs. Comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld is set to take center stage at Mobile's Saenger Theatre, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m.

Seinfeld has touched every part of the entertainment business. His first appearance on "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson" was in 1981. Just eight years later, he was collaborating with fellow comedian Larry David to create the television show "Seinfeld." The show put Seinfeld and his unique comedy in living rooms around the globe for nine seasons and won numerous awards.

Younger generations that may have missed the "Seinfeld" era on television may be more familiar with his voice acting performance in the "Bee Movie." He was a writer for the animated movie and voiced the main character, Barry B. Benson. He also has put out a popular streaming show called "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," which ran from 2012-2019, and most recently a movie about America's favorite breakfast pastry, the Pop-tart, titled "Unfrosted."

Seinfeld is taking his newest stand-up routine on tour starting in Selbyville, Delaware, July 25 and wrapping up in Manhattan, New York, in December.

Tickets for his Mobile show start at $62.50 and go on sale Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com or in person at the Mobile Civic Center Box Office, 401 Civic Center Drive, or the Saenger Theatre Box Office, 6 S. Joachim St.
