Gulf Shores senior Landon Everett was a four-year starter at linebacker and a key piece of the Dolphins' 2023 state championship run — and now has added another milestone to an already decorated high school career.
Everett became just the second wrestler in program history to win the Gulf Coast Clash Elite championship, reaching the 200-win mark in the process.
The dual-sport standout is now one of the most accomplished athletes to come through Gulf Shores. On the mat, he sits at 200 career victories. On the football field, he closed his prep career with 442 tackles, 56.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks, four interceptions and a Class 5A state title.
Everett is committed to continue his football career at Army-West Point. He plans to sign his letter of intent on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
