David Musial, PGA professional and the general manager of Glenlakes Golf Club, has been given the 2025 Player Development Award by the PGA of America's Alabama – Northwest Florida Section.

Musial earned this award by managing Glenlakes to 57,700 rounds in 2025, along with hosting one of the top junior golf programs in the United States. The combination of golf rounds, snowbird clinics, college golf team tournaments and the junior golf program he runs made Musial the frontrunner for the 2025 award.

For the last 11 years as Glenlakes general manager, Musial has been promoting golf in the Baldwin County area through his many golf lessons, clinics and the junior program, which he developed. His support of the local high school boys and girls golf teams has evolved because many of the players are graduates of his junior program.

To reward participation, Glenlakes Golf Club has been offering two college scholarships annually to the academically top graduating male and female seniors who participated in the junior program.
