The big guys in the trenches on Friday nights are shown some appreciation as four Baldwin County offensive linemen were selected to represent Alabama in the 39th annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Game.

St. Michael senior Maddox Caldwell, Daphne's Jai'Vale Fredericks, and Fairhope teammates Parks Glaze and Wesley Sandefur earned roster spots for the prestigious showcase that features the state's top senior talent.

The annual event, organized by the Alabama High School Athletic Association and Mississippi High School Activities Association, pits the best seniors from each state in a border battle that has become a highlight of the high school football calendar.

Before the start of the season, AHSAA announced that Spanish Fort head coach Chase Smith will serve as Alabama's offensive line coach and his assistant Aubrey Blackwell will coach the quarterbacks.

Last year, Alabama defeated Mississippi 35-29 to extend its overall series lead to 27-11. Alabama has won the past four matchups against Mississippi. The 2025 game will be played Saturday, Dec. 13 at Carlisle H.H. Roberts Stadium on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi.
