Young football players along the Alabama Gulf Coast will have a chance to learn from two former Crimson Tide greats as Trent Richardson and Germie Bernard bring youth camps to Baldwin County.
Escambia County native and former Alabama running back Richardson announced Robertsdale as one of his “TR3” youth football camp host sites. He made the announcement via social media along with Robertsdale athletics — scheduled to be held April 25 at J.D. Sellers Stadium. The camp is open to ages 6-12 and upcoming middle to high school athletes. The deadline to sign up is April 15.
“Come ready to work, learn and grow as a player,” Richardson wrote on Instagram.
The 2011 Heisman finalist is not new to youth football camps and has even been to Baldwin County before to host them in places such as Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and Bay Minette. Richardson has been holding youth camps dating back to his NFL days in the early 2010s, providing his professional mentorship all over the state of Alabama.
Alabama wide receiver Bernard is set to visit the Eastern Shore later this summer, bringing his skills to a youth camp in Daphne. The NFL draft prospect will host the camp June 21 at Bayside Academy. The event is open to boys and girls ages 6-16.
Bernard recently participated in the NFL Combine in Indianapolis and is aiming to become the next former Crimson Tide receiver to reach the professional ranks. The 2026 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 23-25.
His appearance will mark the second consecutive year a newly drafted Alabama player has hosted a camp at Bayside Academy, following quarterback Jalen Milroe’s visit in July 2026.
