The first day of school for Baldwin County students is quickly approaching, and Tanger Outlets is ready to help make back-to-school shopping a little more fun.

The Back-to-School Era tax-free weekend event at Tanger Outlets combines shopping and fun Saturday, July 20, from 3-6 p.m., 2601 S. McKenzie St. Shoppers will enjoy activities, games and giveaways while shopping for all the popular brands. Radio station Mix 99.9 will be on-site keeping the shoppers rocking and giving away a pair of tickets to see Taylor Swift in New Orleans. Registration for the giveaway is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The winner will be announced at 5:30 p.m. and must be present to win.

Alabama’s Tax-Free Holiday runs July 19-21. Shoppers can purchase select school supplies, computers, books and clothing free of the state’s 4% sales or use tax. For a list of all eligible items, visit www.alabamaretail.org.
