The Alabama Sports Writers Association named eight of Baldwin County's top players to the 2025-26 All-State basketball teams, putting "the cherry on top" of a historic year for many programs along the Alabama Gulf Coast.

Both Fairhope and Orange Beach led the way locally with multiple honorees, while Bayshore Christian and Foley also placed players on the statewide lists. Notably, only three seniors in Bayshore Christian's Milo Scott, Foley's Amiyah Carvin and St. Michael's Samantha Kokoszka were selected, meaning much of the county's All-State talent is set to return to the hardwood next season.

Fairhope headlined the county's top finishers with a pair of Class 7A second-team selections. Junior Trey Garner anchored the Pirates' interior presence and helped lead Fairhope to the state semifinals before a loss to eventual champion Hoover. Garner stepped into a larger role this season for head coach Ralph Watson following an injury to standout senior Jackson Gulley who was All-State second-team in 2024-25.

On the girls side, junior Nylah Loukides earned second-team honors after powering Fairhope to its first Elite Eight appearance in program history. Loukides became just the second All-State selection for the Lady Pirates, joining Reagan White (2022).

Foley senior Amiyah Carvin picked up third-team recognition in Class 7A to become the 13th player in program history to earn All-State honors. Carvin finished among the top five scorers in 7A and top 10 statewide this season, while also representing Alabama in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game where she scored 10 points in a win. She is also signed to continue her career at Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Mississippi.

Orange Beach continued its rise with two honorees in Class 4A. Sophomore Lee Steele earned second-team recognition after leading the Makos to back-to-back area titles and Sweet 16 appearances. Steele is a highly recruited athlete with Division I offers in both basketball and football and now becomes the program's highest All-State selection.

Freshman Allie Roach added an honorable mention nod after guiding Orange Beach from the point guard position in her first season back from an ACL injury. Roach helped lead the Makos to an area title and is now the first All-State player in program history.

St. Michael Catholics's Samantha Kokoszka was named to the 4A girls second-team, making her a back-to-back All-State selection for the Cardinals coming off a third-team honor in 2024-25. Kokoska surpassed 1,500 career points this season, ending a great career with St. Michael girls basketball.

Bayside Academy junior Hayes Murphy was named an honorable mention in Class 3A boys after leading the Admirals to school's first Elite Eight appearance and also their first area championship since 2016. He is just the second All-State player in Bayside basketball history after averaging 22 points per game this past season.

Rounding out the list was Bayshore Christian senior Milo Scott, who earned honorable mention in Class 2A boys. Scott made history as the first All-State selection for the Eagles and helped lead the program to a playoff appearance this past season.
