Bryant Bank's VP of commercial lending graduates from Alabama School of Banking

Matt Fetner, vice president of commercial lending at Bryant Bank graduated from the Alabama Banking School in Mobile July 26. 

The School is sponsored by the Alabama Bankers Association in cooperation with the Mitchell College of Business at the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Students receive instruction from Alabama bankers, University of South Alabama faculty, academicians, attorneys and consultants. The three-year program requires students to spend one week a year at the Alabama Banking School and successfully complete an intensive curriculum on bank related courses to include six home study problems and exams at the conclusion of the first and second years of study. The highlight of the School is in the third year when students participate in the Bank Exec program and operate a bank through internet simulation exercises.

Matt Fetner is VP Commercial Lending with the Bryant Bank. A native of Mobile, Fetner is a graduate of the University of South Alabama, where he received a degree in Business Administration with concentration in Finance. Matt Fetner is active in various professional and civic organizations including, member and Treasurer of the Board of Director for South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, Board of Director for Snook Family YMCA, member and President of the Foley Rotary Club, Treasurer for Gulf Shores Church of Christ and Board member of Coastal Baldwin Education Enrichment Foundation.

John Naughton stated that the School was pleased to have 52 bankers graduate this year, bringing the total number of ABS graduates to 2072. Enrollment in 2013 for the 38th annual session was 153 students.
