With the North Baldwin community continuing to grow, Cobblestone Hotels has announced the opening of the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites in Bay Minette.

The new hotel is located at 212 W. 1st St. in downtown Bay Minette, directly across the street from City Hall. The hotel features 54 rooms with amenities like coffee and tea makers, mini-refrigerators, microwaves and flat-screen televisions in every guest room. High-speed internet access is also available, along with a complimentary hot breakfast offered each morning. Onsite services include a coin-operated guest laundry, a business center with a computer and printer, an onsite convenience store and an onsite exercise facility.

“The city of Bay Minette is locally known for its scenic surroundings, growing industry, and southern small-town charm,” the company said in a statement. “The local economy has been enjoying a steady incline over recent years with the growth of various local businesses and the recent addition of the South Alabama Megasite to northern Bay Minette.”

Cobblestone Hotels LLC, based in Neenah, Wisconsin, says that over 160 hotels under its umbrella are either open, under construction or in development across 26 states. Its portfolio includes Cobblestone Hotels & Suites, Cobblestone Inn & Suites, Riverstone Suites, KeyWest Hotels, Centerstone Hotels and Boarders Inn & Suites.
