The Baldwin County High School boys' basketball team is calling on local businesses and community supporters to swing into action for its upcoming "Birdies for Buckets" golf tournament fundraiser.
Set for Thursday, July 31, at the Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club, the tournament will raise money to support the Tigers program for the upcoming season. Organizers are offering multiple sponsorship and donation opportunities to help the team reach its goals.
Top-level Tiger Champion Sponsors, priced at $3,500, come with limited availability and include a one-year video board advertising spot, social media shoutouts, game day graphics advertising and live game feed ads on the NFHS Network. Tiger Champion Sponsors also receive everything offered to Tournament Sponsors.
Tournament Sponsors, at $2,000, receive green fees for one team of four golfers, lunch, beverages and entry into the awards reception. They can also choose to sponsor one of several contests at no additional cost, including the putting contest, longest drive, closest to the pin or hole-in-one challenge. Sponsors at this level get signage at one hole and the option to set up a tent or have staff present on the course.
A Team Sponsor package costs $1,000 and includes green fees, food, drinks, gift bags and a social media shoutout featuring the company name. Businesses can also sign on as Hole Sponsors for $150, which provides signage at one hole with the option to set up a vendor tent on site.
For those looking to contribute in other ways, the Tigers welcome prize donations valued at $100 or more and giveaways for all golfers. In-kind donations such as food, drinks, goods or coupons for gift bags are also appreciated.
