Baldwin County to host public meetings on Homeowner Assistance Program

Posted

Baldwin County officials will host a series of public information meetings this spring to help residents learn more about the county’s upcoming Homeowner Assistance Program, or HAP, aimed at expanding homeownership opportunities for eligible residents.

The free meetings will provide an overview of the program, including eligibility requirements, available assistance and the application process. The meetings are part of a broader outreach effort to ensure residents across Baldwin County have access to information about the housing initiative.

Meetings are planned in multiple areas of the county, including Central Baldwin, North Baldwin, South Baldwin and the Eastern Shore.

The first meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 18, in the Baldwin County Commission Chambers inside the County Administration Building, 322 Courthouse Square in Bay Minette.

A second meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at the Baldwin County Courthouse Annex Auditorium, 22251 Palmer St. in Robertsdale.

Additional information about the Homeowner Assistance Program is available at https://baldwincountyal.gov/departments/grants/cdbg-dr/hap.

Both meetings are free and open to the public. For more information, contact publicrelations@jjpragency.com.
