Baldwin County will be represented by five seniors across four programs when some of the top players in Alabama take the field for the 67th Alabama High School Athletic Association North-South All-Star Football Classic next month.
Fairhope's Will Cooper and Orange Beach's Dylan Tabb will anchor the offensive and defensive fronts, representing two of the area's most physical linemen. Cooper has racked up 38 tackles and eight tackles for loss this season within the Pirates' trenches, while Tabb started all 10 games at left tackle for the Makos. Cooper is committed to Jacksonville State to play offensive line.
Nick Hampton of Gulf Shores earned his spot at tight end, reeling in 36 catches for 512 yards and seven touchdowns in 2025 while adding another two scores on the ground. Hampton is committed to play football at Troy in 2026.
Fairhope kicker Grant Thompson will join his teammate in Mobile after being one of the best kickers in South Alabama this season. Thompson made 40 of his 41 extra-point attempts and 10 of his 16 field-goal attempts, with a long of 55 yards.
Rounding out the Baldwin County contingent is defensive back Edrick "EJ" Williams, a University of Louisiana at Lafayette commit from Daphne. Williams leads the Trojans in tackles with 95 and has two interceptions — including a 99-yard pick-six.
The North-South All-Star Football Classic is one of the AHSAA's longest-running traditions, bringing together 88 of the state's top seniors each year. Kickoff for the annual classic is set for 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile.
