Fairhope baseball also went 2-1 during the PBR weekend. Both the Dolphins and the Pirates fell to reigning Class 7A champion Tuscaloosa County High School.

And finally, reigning five-time state champions Orange Beach softball opened its season in Florida with a 10-2 win over Northview, picking up right where the Makos left off last spring.
