Baldwin County athletes earn multiple titles at AHSAA State Wrestling Championships

Baldwin County programs turned in a strong showing at the AHSAA State Wrestling Championships, with several local athletes claiming individual titles and earning top-six finishes across multiple classifications.

Daphne's girls team highlighted the county teams in winning the Class 6A-7A championship, continuing a run of success that includes two state titles in the past four seasons along with a runner-up finish.

Bayside Academy Girls 1-5A — 23rd place

- Addie Babcock: 107-pound, 3rd place

Daphne Girls 6-7A — Champions

- Kimber Alford: 138-pound, champion

- Annabella Harris: 145-pound, champion

- Payton Carpenter: 100-pound, runner-up

- Taliah Wade: 185-pound, 4th place

- Malazia Johnson: 235-pound, 4th place

Gulf Shores Girls 6-7A — 10th place

- Khloe Henshaw: 235-pound, champion

- Mirabella Matson: 114-pound, 4th place

Bayside Academy Boys 1-4A — 12th place

- Noah Breeland: 215-pound, champion

- Jonathan Hall: 106-pound, runner-up

Orange Beach Boys 1-4A — 28th place

- Mac Peters: 190-pound, 5th place
