Argument between brothers in Foley leads to gunshots, one man in critical condition

Posted

Foley Police said on Tuesday, Nov. 30, just before 7 a.m., a police sergeant saw a white Chevrolet vehicle speed past him heading northbound on N. McKenzie Street near the South Baldwin Regional Medical Center.

The officer followed the car into the hospital’s parking lot and found a 33-year-old male lying on the ground near the hospital doors in a pool of blood.

Police investigated and said the man had argued with his 33-year-old brother earlier that morning. The brother, police said, fired several shots into the victim’s car with a revolver and struck the victim once in the neck.

The suspect was later stopped in Seminole and arrested for felony assault first degree and felony shooting into an occupied vehicle.

The victim was flown to USA Medical Center in Mobile with critical injuries. Police said both men are from Foley.
