Are you looking for something to do this weekend while The Hangout Music Festival takes over Gulf Shores? We've got you.

This weekend's events will keep everyone from the anglers to the railroad fanatics entertained. The Orange Beach Billfish Classic kicks off the marlin tournament season kicks off the weekend along with The Hangout Music Festival. Railroad fans can head over to Pensacola Saturday for Railfest hosted by the Pensacola Model Railroad Club. Sunday brings The Hope Farm Sunday Supper or the Sunday Sunset Concert Series. Finally, we have one event next week we have included, Handgun 101.

Orange Beach Billfish Classic

  • What: It is time for the marlin tournament season and the run for the Gulf Coast Triple Crown and the Orange Beach Billfish Classic is the kickoff locally. The tournament isn't only fun for the anglers, but it is also fun for the spectators as the variety of fish gets weighed in.   • When: Weigh-ins – Friday, May 17, 7-10 p.m. and Saturday, May 18, 6-10 p.m.

The Hangout Music Festival

  • What: The Hangout Music will rock the beach all weekend long. This year's headliners include Zach Bryan, Lana Del Rey, ODESZA, The Chainsmokers, Cage the Elephant, Renee Rapp, Dominic Fike and Jessie Murph. Tickets are still available. Pensacola Railfest

  • What: All aboard! Train lovers will delight in the many scale models and formats represented at the Pensacola Railfest. Hosted by the Pensacola Model Railroad Club, this event will also include vendors selling trains, parts, supplies and memorabilia.
  • When: Saturday, May 18 – Sunday, May 19, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Where: Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, 6655 Mobile Hwy., Pensacola
  • Price: Adult admission is $7

The Hope Farm Sunday Supper Series

  • What: Take a dining journey to the Amalfi coast through a curated dining experience at The Hope Farm. Executive Chef Adam Stephens and the team will delight your palate. This is a ticketed event with limited seating. To learn more about this or other events, visit www.thehopefarm.com.
  • When: Sunday, May 19, 6-9 p.m.
  • Where: The Hope Farm, 915 Nichols Ave., Fairhope

Sunday Sunset Concert Series

  • What: Closeout the weekend with a sunset concert on the bay. The Sunday Concert Series brings live music to Bayfront Park. This is the last concert in the series. Bring your lawn blankets, chairs and your family and friends for a delightful evening.
  • When: Sunday, May 19, 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Where: Bayfront Park, 6200 Bayfront Drive, Daphne
  • Price: Free to attend

Handgun 101

  • What: Learn firearms safety and marksmanship from professionals. The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources offers a range of classes across the state and one is coming to Orange Beach. Handgun 101 is designed for beginners to intermediate shooters and covers safe handling, storage, marksmanship and participants live live-fire semi-automatic handguns and revolvers.
