The forecast of inclement weather has prompted the City of Fairhope to reschedule its annual Magical Christmas Parade.

The event was originally scheduled to take place Friday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. but will now take place Thursday, Dec. 7, at 6:30 p.m.

The city released a statement Thursday, Nov. 30, saying:

“This difficult decision was made with the safety of all participants and spectators in mind. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we hope that you will still be able to join us for this unforgettable event and experience the magic of the holiday season with your loved ones.”
