GULF SHORES, Ala. -- The 2018 National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship is right around the corner, May 4-6 on the white-sand beaches of Gulf Shores. Pack your beach towels and hit the sand to see the action up close when the country’s top beach volleyball athletes bump, set and spike their way to the national championship. Final selections are officially set for April 29 at 7 p.m. (Visit NCAA.com and follow at: twitter.com/NCAAVolleyball).
TICKETS
Tickets are required and advance purchase is recommended (Visit gulfshores.com). Tickets start at just $20. For the full experience, fans can purchase NCAA Experience All-Session tickets for $200 each and watch the competition from the comfort of a covered, elevated platform with views of the three championship courts. Complimentary snacks, water and Coca-Cola products will be available, as well as a cash bar.
Courtside Seating All-Session tickets are $75 and include admission to all matches played Friday, Saturday and the championship on Sunday. Courtside seating is based on availability and is first come, first served on courts 1-3 and beach chair seating on courts 4 and 5.
Things to Bring or Leave at Home
Get prepared for your championship experience by being in-the-know on admittance rules. Small backpacks are allowed, but are subject to search. No chairs, tents, hammocks or umbrellas are allowed. Plan to bring a beach towel and sunscreen. Outside food and beverage is not allowed. Reasonably priced food and drinks will be available for purchase onsite.
Coolers and glass are prohibited. Drones, video cameras or professional photo equipment are not allowed.
