The documentary “Why We Fight” will be screened April 7, at 7 p.m., at Fairhope Unitarian Fellowship, 1150 Fairhope Ave., across from the Baldwin County Satellite Courthouse in Fairhope.

In his farewell speech of Jan. 17, 1961, President Eisenhower warned of a growing military-industrial complex, and its possible negative impact on our democracy and our republic.

The movie reveals how, as Eisenhower warned, political and corporate interests have become alarmingly entangled in the business of war.

Free admission, but contributions will be accepted.
