Residents have a chance to focus on their well-being at the Hope Community Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fairhope Rotary Youth Club.
The free event will connect attendees with local organizations offering a variety of health services and resources. Participants can take advantage of free health screenings, including blood pressure checks and HIV testing, as well as eye care services with complimentary eyeglass adjustments and exam vouchers provided by the Lions Club.
The fair will also provide information on mental health, substance abuse support, women’s health, and programs supporting mothers and babies. Nutrition guidance and resources for managing conditions such as Sickle Cell Disease will also be available.
Family-friendly activities include art projects for children and free healthy snacks. Attendees can even register to vote on-site.
The Hope Community Health & Wellness Fair offers a one-stop opportunity to explore local health services and take steps toward a healthier lifestyle.
The Fairhope Rotary Youth Club is located at 19128 Young St. in Fairhope.
