Robin Elizabeth Sutton and William Edward Anders were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at Saint Paul’s Methodist Church in Goldsboro, N. C.
A reception followed at the Goldsboro Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of David and Virginia Ann Sutton of Goldsboro, N. C. She is the granddaughter of Charlotte Jones of Kinston, N.C., and the late Floyd Barwick Jones Jr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie William Sutton of LaGrange, N.C.
The bridegroom is the son of Ferrell and Pauline Anders of Fairhope. He is grandson of Mary B. Arrington of Montgomery and the late Richard Henry Arrington Jr., Doris Herring of Massey and the late William Minter Anders.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from North Carolina State University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is an account manager for PACE Communication in Greensboro, N.C.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is presently a student of economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Eleanor Katharine Spicer and Carolyn Elizabeth Wilkins served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Anders Lee, sister of the bridegroom; Claire Baird Broadaway, Addie Sluder Hall and Catherine Crawley Parker.
Ferrell Summerford Anders served as best man. Groomsmen were William Bryan Lee, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Mickey Ladd, Matt Lundberg, Johnathan Smith, Holden Spaht and Charles B. Spaht.
