DAPHNE — Over 100 guests gathered as The Lighthouse held its 25th-annual Sunset Supper at Belforest Pointe on Nov. 6.
The nonprofit, which focuses on eliminating domestic violence and sexual assault through education, intervention, services and collaboration, held the event from 6 to 9 p.m. Guests listened to live music by Wes Loper and Amanda Donald while participating in silent auctions. Attendees also enjoyed hors d'oeuvres prepared by No B.S. Catering and meals prepared by Rob Berglin.
Money raised at the event will be used to maintain services to victims and survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
The Lighthouse was founded in 1994. The organization provides services including a 24-hour crisis line, individual and group counseling, case management, court advocacy services, transitional housing, advocacy for children, shelter for those in danger, prevention education and community awareness to Baldwin, Monroe, Conecuh and Escambia counties.
