Stephen "Chad" Chadwick Sharp, an engineer and resident of Silverhill, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Jul. 5, 2024, at the age of 48.  Chad was born September 1, 1975, to Gary Sharp and Judy Wesley. He grew up mostly in Fairhope, Alabama, and was part of the Fairhope High School graduating class of 1993. Having been blessed with astounding intelligence, Chad was always inquisitive about how things worked and why. He attended the University of South Alabama College of Engineering and graduated in May 2008 with his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree. Chad went on to work as a project manager with Thompson Engineering. When not working, Chad loved to spend quality time with his nieces and nephews whom he loved like they were his own children, his mom, and his brothers. The family has the comfort of knowing that Chad is with Jesus for eternity.

Chad is survived by his mother Judy Wesley Sims; his brother Michael (Alison) Sharp; his cherished nieces (Cecelia Sharp and Gracie Sharp) and nephews (Jacob Sharp, Maddock Knuckle, and Clay Sharp); other extended family members; and his Thompson Engineering family. Chad is preceded in death by his brother Jeremy "Jay" Sharp.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Dwelling Place Church, 18246 S. Greeno Rd, Fairhope, Al. 36532 in the memory of Chad Sharp.
