Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lewis Smith of Pleasant Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth Smith, to William Brandon Pearson, the son of Deborah Dailey Hoffman of Silverhill and William Vernon Pearson of Birmingham.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert Franklin Culpepper Sr. of Pleasant Hill and the late Dorothy Tate Culpepper, Ella Lewis Smith of Dothan and the late Edwin Reid Smith.
She is a graduate of Foley High School and Auburn University where she holds a degree in mass communications and marketing. She is employed as an account executive with Gulf Coast Properties Magazine in Gulf Shores.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dailey of McWilliams and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rial Hobson Pearson of Camden.
He is a graduate of Monroe Academy and attended Troy University. He is employed as a sales representative with Mingledorff’s Distributors in Gulf Shores.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 22 at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church.
