Victoria Suzanne Schlayer of Vernant Park and Quinon Lamar Givens of Foley were united in marraige Nov. 8, 2008 in the barn at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lipscomb of Vernant Park. Pastor William Stephens officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Foley High School. She is assistant manager at a local lending company.
She is the daughter of Steven and Kimberly Schlayer, pwners of BayDream Farm in Vernant Park.
The bridegroom is a 2004 gradaute of Foley High School. He works for Givens Brothers Logging.
He is the son of Doyle and Patricia Givens, owners of Double G Farms in Foley.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Steven Schlayer.
The bride was escorted down the isle to George Strait’s “How ‘Bout them Cowgirls” in honor of her lifelong love of horses.
A reception followed in the barn, where the bride’s four horses were present.
A honeymoon cruise is being planned for a later date.
The couple resides in the Vernant Park community.
