Pen Air Federal Credit Union awards 6 scholarships

Pen Air Federal Credit Union (Pen Air) is excited to award six scholarships to local graduating seniors. Scholarships are awarded to student members based on the student's academic performance and passion for helping others.

The Pen Air Scholarship Program was established to help Pen Air student members, who have a passion for helping others, pursue a post-secondary education toward an undergraduate or associates degree or trade certification. From its inception in 2010 through 2021, $126,500 in scholarships have been awarded to local graduating high school seniors.

"Graduation is such a special time. Helping students enter the next phase of their lives is an honor," said Casey Brueske, community education development specialist. "Pen Air is proud to provide scholarships to our student members in support of achieving their dreams. We can't wait to see what they do in the years to come."

The 2022 Pen Air Scholarship recipient in Baldwin County was Isabella, from Saint Michael High School.

Pen Air will pay up to $1,250 per semester (Fall and Spring Semesters only) toward tuition, fees and supplies to attend school. The scholarship will be equal to the cost billed by the school for each semester or $1,250 whichever is less for up to eight consecutive semesters. Learn more at penair.org/Scholarships.
