Cassie Jespen and Mike Purvis announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany L. Payne, to Chad D. Peed, the son of Ray and Kathy Peed of Gulf Shores.
The bride-elect is a pre-nursing student at the University of South Alabama where she hopes to be accepted into the nursing school in Summer 2008. She works at Tacky Jacks in Orange Beach as a waitress and bartender.
She is the granddaughter of Jim and Gail Parris of McKinney, Texas, and Phyllis “Sam” McClinton of Gulf Shores.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Gulf Shores High School. He works for his father at the family business, Southern Automotive, in Gulf Shores. He is the grandson of James and Evelyn Sanders, Joe and Faye Raley and the late Jimmy Peed, all of Gulf Shores.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. May 17, 2008 at Foley Heritage Park. A reception will follow at the Foley Civic Center.
