Melanie Murray and Will Eidson were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Aug. 11 at Spanish Fort United Methodist Church. The Rev. Chip Hale officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Linda Murray of Spanish Fort. The bridegroom is the son of Jim and Mary Eidson of Griffin, Ga.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a sophisticated shantung silk strapless gown with a trumpet skirt enhanced with buttons down the length of the back. Her veil was shoulder-length and adorned by a single silk appliqué accented with crystal beads. She carried a bouquet of white lisianthus.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Choice, Heather Murray, Lindsey Richardson, Jana Jones, Ashley Cross, Katie Paisley and Sara Manning.
Jim Eidson served as best man. Groomsmen were Alan Murray, Will Cross, John Briel, Ryan McLemore and Walt Rocker.
Morgan Reeder was the flower girl.
A reception at the Museum of Mobile followed the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Lincoln, Neb.
