As Mardi Gras celebrations are in full swing, Krewe De' Kaoz is once again encouraging revelers to recycle their unwanted beads and throws through its annual "Recycle Me Mister" program.

The initiative, running from Feb. 21 through March 21, aims to keep non-biodegradable beads out of landfills by providing collection bins at local businesses. Drop-off locations include:

• Rouses in Gulf Shores, 1545 Gulf Shores Pkwy.
• United Spine and Pain in Foley, 222 S. Alston St.
• Red Beards Treasure Chest in Summerdale, 105 AL-59
• Bob's Discount Store in Robertsdale, 22245 AL-59
